Watercolour Art Workshops – With Penny and Linda
24th June 2017
Cost and times: £45pp 10am to 4pm
Leaders Penny and Linda describe themselves as experienced and enthusiastic amateurs. Both have sold watercolours over several years but both have to fit their passion for painting around busy teaching careers. Penny works in a Special Needs School as Head of Humanities and Linda is a Peripatetic Music teacher.
The Wind Energy Museum is tucked away in the rural village of Repps-cum-Bastwick. The secluded three acre site houses a variety of exhibits and some stunning views for budding landscape artists. There is a small education room with a kitchen and toilet. The location is central to the Norfolk Broads.
We will explore colour mixing and techniques that will enable you to paint skies in watercolour. After lunch, weather permitting, we will paint outside where there are some spectacular landscape options.
We’ll supply the equipment that you will need although if you have your own please bring it. You may also want to bring a lightweight seat if you think you many prefer to paint sitting down.
Tea, coffee, squash and biscuits, plus a strawberry cream tea to finish your day – all included in the price.
Please bring your own packed Lunch
